Les Miserables 5 Shows, 5 Standing Ovations, 1 AWARD

For the first time in the societies history the production Les Miserables was a total sellout and the audiences loved it. The show created a fantastic response thanks to the production team and very talented cast. Congratulations to you all, there is no doubt that you deserved every standing ovation.

The best aculade was then given to the society when at our production of Stage By Stage we were awarded the cup for BEST PRODUCTION by Derrick Grattage from NODA. All cast members and crew of the production were honoured and proud to gain such an award and it is due to the outstanding amount of hard work that was put in. WELL DONE!

2010 RENT

Our 15th Anniversary year started with a bang as the senior section of the society did their production of Jonathan Lsrsons 'Rent'. The show was a box office success and touched on many subjects that are taboo in todays society.

The society took a risk with this hard-hitting musical, but the gamble paid off, with a stunning set and amazing lead cast the show took the society to new levels.

The rock band were also situated on stage for the production which added another air of professionalism, along with the outstanding lighting design by Mike Williams.

The show was directed by Craig james, assisted by Scott Thomas, who had his first curtain call as assistant director. Choreography by Leah Robins and Musical Director for the production was Craig James. Well done to all involved!
